Mahabharat


Mahabharat is a successful Indian television series based on the ancient Indian epic Mahabharata. The 94-episode series originally ran from 1988 to 1990. It was produced by B. R. Chopra and directed by his son, Ravi Chopra The music was composed by critically acclaimed music director Rajkamal. Each episode was approximately 45 minutes long.It was shown in the UK by the BBC, where it achieved audience figures of 5 million, unheard of for a subtitled series being aired in the afternoon.

Sach Ka Saamna


This show is the local version of the globally successful Moment of Truth. Sach Ka Saamna is a show that makes a contestant answers the questions Yes/No in front of their family and friends, questions that are extremely personal and embarrassing. The contestant has the option to leave, or tell their hidden feelings. 21 right answers and he/she is a crorepati. A lie detector test, taken prior to the show when the contestant is asked 50 questions, confirms whether the answer is right or wrong.
